Wombat training Here's a video of keeper Tiff doing a training session with one of our wombats. Wombats are not necessarily the easiest animals to train as they are usually not as reward focused as other animals such as dogs. Then again, I've known some pet dogs who aren't this cooperative when it comes to trimming their toenails. When you have a pinkie in care you have to oil their skin with an appropriate skin oil to mimic the oily substance in mums pouch that would keep her from getting a dry skin. Little Girl wasn’t too impressed but once she’s had a bottle and her skin felt good she fell asleep instantly -> her new carer let me know that she is doing very well. Fussy the first night which is to be expected as she changed to a different person (heartbreaking what they go through just because someone hit and killed mum
