Our 100 Women in Demining project in Angola seeks to boost mine clearance in the country and empower women. We aim to train and employ 100 women as deminers, medics, drivers and mechanics, and deploy them to clear high priority minefields. This will not only allow the villagers to safely use their land for agriculture, it will provide skills, income, status and empowerment to 100 women who would otherwise be in low-paid, informal employment or out of work. | The HALO Trust
