A full day in Endoscopy as an Anesthesiologist Assistant: 4 EGDs, 1 bronch, 2 ERCPs. Three of the EGDs were sedation cases where I used a combination of fentanyl propofol. The patient spontaneously breathes with supplemental o2 via nasal cannula. The other cases required general endotracheal anesthesia.
