Our baby emu not really a baby anymore. The mum and dad were being too aggressive, to even go in the paddock with them so I split them when he got to 6 months just before I ment on holiday. The baby doesn’t rely on being fed by its parents at all. He learnt what to do on his own and quickly. We may introduce them again. At some point. But for the safety of the birds and our volunteers he’s happy being a pony for now. 🤣🤣. We have done it once for them to experience it. But we won’t let them sit
