The Argo program recently hit a major milestone: The network of robotic floats has taken more than 3,000,000 temperature and salinity profiles of our ocean since the program's inception in 1999! Argo floats deployed in the ocean around the globe have been gathering data that is instrumental in helping scientists understand our changing climate.
