✈️37 years ago, the world’s largest aircraft, the An-225 Mriya, took to the skies for the first time. The historic maiden flight lasted more than an hour and set several world records. In total, the An-225 holds 240 world records. The first flight took off from the Antonov-1 airfield in Kyiv, with a test crew at the controls, and successfully landed in Hostomel.
