Emily Houpt, one of the UNCC campus shooting survivors, got a standing ovation as she walked across the stage to receive her degree in International Studies Saturday. About a week and a half ago, two students were killed and four others were injured. The family of Riley Howell also receive a posthumous degree in his honor.
