Tropical Storm Barry is slowly moving westward across the northern Gulf of Mexico, as seen here by NOAA's GOES East. As of 2 p.m. ET, the storm was located about 90 miles south of the mouth of the Mississippi River. The National Hurricane Center warns that Barry could produce dangerous storm surge, heavy rains and high winds along the Gulf Coast.
