The Swamp White Oak Tree, Quercus bicolor, is a long lived native White Oak that is easier to transplant than other white oaks such as the Bur Oak, Post Oak, and White Oak (Quercus alba). It is native to bottomland sites with acid soil and will become chlorotic with yellowing leaves if the soil has a high lime content.
