Sign language and PECS work together in a strong way for autistic children who need clear and simple communication support. PECS gives a visual image that stays long enough for the brain to process. Sign language adds a real-time action your child can copy, understand, and use without pressure. In therapy sessions, I often introduce both at the same time.
