Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) is a genetic disorder in which clusters of fluid-filled sacs (cysts) grow in the kidneys. Over time, these cysts enlarge, damage normal kidney tissue, and can lead to chronic kidney disease (CKD) or kidney failure. --- Types of PKD: 1. Autosomal Dominant PKD (ADPKD) Most common type.
