During my first trip to Nanyang City, central China's Henan Province, I was deeply impressed by Nanyang Pyrography, a kind of traditional Chinese art with a history of over 2,000 years. Craftsmen use hot pokers or electrically heated tools to paint patterns on carbonizable materials, creating stunning visual effects resembling traditional Chinese paintings.
