Edgar Allan Poe: Buried Alive - Trailer | American Masters

Edgar Allan Poe died mysteriously and abruptly while on a trip in Baltimore. Many of his friends and family were not even aware of his death until after he was buried. Years later, Poe's coffin was moved to a more fitting grave for the Master of the Macabre, but while the coffin was being transported across the cemetery, the coffin broke and the skeletal remains of Edgar Allan Poe fell to the ground.
