Some African artists, like Mozambican sculptor Gonçalo Mabunda, have gained international recognition by turning guns into art. Now an exhibition of a similar project has opened in the US, at the New America Foundation in Washington, DC. The show, Guns In The Hands Of Artists, runs until 7 October 2016.
