Modern Contemporary Dance Class (Carsten Lumière Sasse)

I just released a Modern Dance Class resource for dance teachers, so I wanted to explain how I think of the difference between the two: So much of my (and others!) contemporary style is influenced by Modern dance, and today the two are often blended within a class labeled as “contemporary” When it comes to teaching, I love utilizing true Modern dance techniques because it brings my classes structured exercises and clear objectives, which is especially helpful at the beginner level!!
