I cut notches around the top and bottom of a piece of cardboard cut into a mitten shape. Then I wrapped yarn around the cardboard and behind the tabs. I cut a popsicle stick on one end, just enough to split the wood, to hold the yarn for weaving. We used the popsicle stick to help guide the yarn while weaving.
