Over the years, our research has helped make treatment more effective for children with cancer. Children with Cancer UK helped fund the development of the Minimal Residual Disease (MRD) test, which is a test that detects the risk of relapse for children with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, like Sam. The MRD test means that children with ALL can avoid having unnecessarily intensive treatment. The test is now used in the NHS as standard care for patients. Learn more about the MRD test here: https:/
