Homelessness is a major social issue that probably exists in every major city around the world. But in Japan, this issue is something that rarely gets talked about, to the point we were almost convinced that there were no homeless people in Japan until we saw them with our own eyes. It is estimated that there are over 1,500 homeless people in Tokyo but the truth is, no one knows for sure how many there are or how they became homeless.
