Barefoot and legs sticking to car seats, roll down windows with no power locks. The radios had knobs and we actually dialed in when the signal would fade. On the hottest days, we’d get in the water and chase minnows and collect them in tiny kid cups, inspect them, celebrate them and then set them free.
