Kim Cattrall, born circa 1956 in Liverpool, England, moved to Vancouver, Canada, at age three. She studied acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art before debuting in Otto Preminger’s Rosebud in 1975. By the early 1980s, she appeared in Porky’s and Police Academy, filming across Toronto and Los Angeles. Her defining role as Samantha Jones in HBO’s Sex and the City began in 1998, shot largely in Manhattan’s Chelsea and SoHo districts. Behind the glamour, she clashed with co-star Sar
