As part of the Queens Bus Network Redesign, we're implementing 25 new Rush Routes across the borough! Buses on Rush Routes will make limited stops when they approach major transit hubs to help people who live farther from the subway reach their trains faster. 🆕 There's a new feature on mta.info and the Apple iOS MYmta app that shows you how many riders are on arriving buses, so you can decide whether you're comfortable boarding or if you'd rather wait. Right now, we're live on about 40% of our buses, in all 5 boroughs. We know distancing on public transit can be a concern, especially as the city reopens and folks go back to work, and we hope this tool helps you make you a little more comfortable as you get on the bus.
