This one’s for any potential customers out there thinking of having there Artex ceilings made smooth! In my opinion the only safe garrenteed option to making your Artex ceiling smooth it to overboard the existing with plasterboard, effectively having a new ceiling put up without taking the existing one down! Sometimes this isn’t possible so the next best thing is to over skim them… Preparation is key with this option and if it’s not done correctly you’ll have issues such as this in the video! #p
