Are you an S1 holder in Spain? If you hold a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) or a UK Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC), these are still valid when visiting other EU countries. The type of card you have will depend on when you when you moved to Spain. Both cards cover you for medically necessary care when visiting another EU country, and all existing EHICs remain valid until their expiry date.
