Osage Nation was well-represented in Pawhuska’s annual Christmas Parade of Lights! Elected officials, students and teachers from Daposka Ahnkodapi, community leaders, and families wound their way through the historic downtown on their lighted floats. The blinking lights on the brick buildings illuminated the spectacular holiday decor while Santa Claus added the exclamation point to the parade. The holidays are here! | Osage Nation

CULTURAL CONNECTION SERIES | Osage Meat Pie Indigenous peoples throughout Indian Country make meat pies in many different ways. Osage meat pies are made with ground beef, kidney suet, salt and pepper. The meat is wrapped in dough and baked in the oven until golden brown.
