The most beautiful and rarest Ray spotted yesterday at Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort – The Ornate Eagle Ray. 😍 Everyone is excited when the Ornate Eagle Ray is seen in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, the ray is dubbed the ‘the unicorn of the sea’ and this endangered species rarely makes an appearance. The distinctive species is marked by leopard-like spots and a golden tint. There is not a lot of information on the species, so if you do happen to see it when visiting the Great Barrier Reef
