The Dalton Highway is truly a wild experience, especially in winter. There is so much untouched beauty up there with no civilization around. Its also very unforgiving. So if you choose to explore, make sure you do research and come prepared. It is mainly a trucking road and please always give the truckers the right of way and make sure to give them ample space.
