Everyone says HYROX is a runner’s race and while I can understand that more now, I do not recommend going into this as JUST a runner. Having no strength in the stations will only burn you out so you feel worse on the runs. This truly is a “hybrid” race and you should be doing both strength and running to feel good for all of it. But even though Brendan and I showed up to this as just runners, we were able to hold our own! I’m just lucky that’s he’s naturally strong because I was able to coast on
