Family, friends, CDCR staff and people from agencies across the state showed up to remember the life and legacy of Parole Agent Joshua Byrd. Agent Byrd died in the line of duty on July 17, and today hundreds of people attended a memorial service held in his honor. CDCR wants to thank everyone for their support. Today, CDCR staff joined thousands of law enforcement personnel in the Law Enforcement Torch Run. The race helps Special Olympics Northern California.
