What an amazing tour Owen and I took today at Butler Peak Fire Lookout. Karen is a wonderful volunteer as she shares so many interesting facts and stories. The lookout is at 8,537 feet and it was built in 1936. We will do another post with photos and audio. The views were as good as a flight through the mountain in light aircraft. Lake Arrowhead was to our west and Big Bear Lake to our east. The perspective was great for showing this magnificent area the eagles can soar in. Stunning place here i
