This Simulation illustrates the working of a Boost Converter, which steps up a DC input voltage to a higher DC output. The input is 5 V, and through the switching action of a transistor (driven at 1 kHz), energy is stored in a 100 mH inductor and then released through a diode into a 10 µF capacitor. The result is a boosted output voltage of around 10 V across a 1 kΩ load. The waveform shows the switching signal (orange) and the rising output voltage (blue), clearly demonstrating voltage boosting
