One of the hardest things to accept is that your child is always compared to their actual age vs adjusted ages. We all wish that they had a special preemie chart but the truth is they don’t. There is no perfect chart to measure a 24 weeker vs a 29 weeker. All too often post NICU parents get discouraged when their baby doesn’t hit any or all milestones for their age.
