At its peak, Borisov produced enough water to fill a bathtub in about 10 seconds. Our Swift Satellite detected a rare X-ray outburst from a stellar-mass black hole from 8,000 light-years away on June 15. Black Hole flare ups like this typically only occur every couple of decades, and this one was last active in 1989.
