Today, our LASD family came together to support late Deputy Gonzalo Galvez’ family. Special Enforcement Bureau Deputies and search & rescue personnel walked Gia, Deputy Galvez' daughter onto campus today for her first day of school. Deputy Galvez, a 24-year veteran of the Department, tragically lost his battle to cancer on August 6, 2024.
