We look at the opening betting odds for the upcoming May 3 undisputed super middleweight title fight between Canelo Alvarez and William Scull

The former super welterweight world champion is set to rematch Bruno Surace in the main supporting bout for the Saul "Canelo" Alvarez vs. William Scull undercard on May 3 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Alalshikh announced on X that Alvarez, who holds the WBA, WBO and WBC super middleweight titles will face IBF champion William Scull on May 3. Scull became champion in October with a unanimous decision win over Vladimir Shishkin.

Canelo Alvarez, boxing's top star, will meet William Scull for the undisputed super middleweight championship on May 3 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Turki Alalshikh, the chairman of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority,

Alvarez, 34, most recently dominated Edgar Berlanga by unanimous decision to retain his titles last September. He’s on a five-fight winning streak since losing to Dmitry Bivol in May 2022. Scull, 32, fought twice in 2024, winning unanimous decisions against Sean Hemphill and Vladimir Shishkin

Saul "Canelo" Alvarez has officially mapped out his 2025 campaign. In the first fight of his new four-bout deal with Turki Alalshikh's Riyadh Season, the WBA, WBC and WBO super middleweight champion will put his belts on the line against IBF champion William Scull on May 3 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
