After missing the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the fifth consecutive season, the Philadelphia Flyers made a change behind the bench by hiring Rick Tocchet, most recently of the Vancouver Canucks. Just days before the 2025 NHL Draft, the Flyers are adding forward Trevor Zegras in a trade with the Anaheim Ducks.

The rest of the NHL let the Panthers have their day in the (scorching) sun for Sunday's Stanley Cup parade, but we got our first big move of draft week on Monday.

Zegras, 24, is extremely skilled but has struggled with injuries and consistency the past few seasons. The Flyers will send Ryan Poehling and two draft picks to Anaheim in the deal.
