Live updates: SpaceX Starship set to launch 8th test flight after explosive failure
Starship, the most powerful rocket ever built, is set to lift off during a one-hour window that opens at 5:30 p.m. CT. During its last test run, the spacecraft exploded over the Caribbean, raining debris over populated islands.
The company has made changes to the vehicle, part of which blew up over the Caribbean in January during the seventh test flight. An issue during the countdown halted Monday’s launch.
SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said Sunday there’s a “lot to learn on this flight.” It will be the second of 2025 and eighth overall.
