I wanted to love Shokz’s OpenFit 2, the company’s latest open-ear wireless earbuds debuting here at CES 2025. While Shokz made several improvements to the overall design and function, the sound can still be a tad hollow.

Improved comfort, double the drivers, better Bluetooth and much longer battery life can be found on Shokz's OpenFit 2 earbuds.

The OpenFit 2 — available in black or beige — keep the same basic formula of the original, but use a slightly tighter curve on the earhook, with inner surfaces covered in Shokz’s Ultra-Soft Silicone 2.0. Add to that a new flexible nickel-titanium alloy, Shokz says the new earbuds should be both more comfortable and more secure.

The Shokz OpenFit 2 feature improved sound, fit, battery life and controls, making them an exciting update to the original Shokz OpenFit and OpenFit Air headphones.
