This is the second major push we've seen Apple TV Plus make so far this year to draw in more subscribers. Earlier this month, Apple made the streamer free for everyone for a three-day period so that new viewers could sample "Slow Horses," "Ted Lasso," and more of the best Apple TV Plus shows.

Apple has made the Apple TV+ show "Severance" available on the Roku Channel for a limited time to promote the second season.

Apple is using the Adam Scott thriller to try and drive new subscribers to its streaming service, following a number of moves to get its programming in front of those who may mot have sampled it.

Season 1 of the psychological dramedy, "Severance," is now available to stream for free on Roku ahead of its Season 2 premiere next week on Apple TV+

Apple TV+ really hopes you'll get hooked on the dystopian hit—which, to be fair, you probably will—and become a subscriber for Severance season two.
