Three Stanley Cup championship rings have been stolen from Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin's home in another theft from a high-profile professional athlete.

Pittsburgh Penguins star Evgeni Malkin says his struggling team needs to start playing harder if it wants to return to the playoffs.

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin had his home broken into and burglarized over the weekend and his three Stanley Cup championship rings are missing. The Penguins say they're working with local police as well as team security officials and that Malkin has requested his privacy during what the team called an ongoing investigation.
