President Trump filed a $10-billion lawsuit alleging CBS deceptively edited the Kamala Harris interview. CBS publicly released the transcripts and footage after turning the material over to the FCC.

Two reports in recent weeks, one posted Thursday by The New York Times and another earlier this month by The Wall Street Journal, suggested executives at Paramount were considering ways to bring the suit to a close.

President Trump said Thursday that CBS should be shut down after the network released the unedited transcript and footage from the controversial “60 Minutes'” interview of Kamala Harris that is being probed by the Federal Communications Commission.
