The Hoosiers (14-6; 5-4 Big Ten) lost their fifth straight game in the series. Indiana went into halftime with all the momentum after erasing a 10-point deficit, but Northwestern exploded for nine 3-pointers in the second half to regain control of the game.

Northwestern pulled away with a 21-4 run for a 70-56 lead with 3:12 to play. Jalen Leach made three of the Wildcat's five 3s during the stretch.

Ty Berry made seven 3-pointers and finished with 23 points as Northwestern men’s basketball beat Indiana 79-70 in Evanston on Wednesday.
