A Kalamazoo County man bought a Michigan Lottery 50X instant ticket at Ziggy's in Kalamazoo that won $1 million.

The 59-year-old player, who chose to remain anonymous, received his winnings in a lump sum payment of about $694,000.

The Powerball lottery jackpot was an estimated $30 million with a cash option of $13.9 million for Wednesday night's drawing.
