Former Florida State defensive end and Los Angeles Rams rising star Jared Verse has set another speed record according to the National Football League’s Next Gen Stats. While chasing down Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley on one of his touchdown runs,

But Barkley doubled down when he saw who was in his rear view. The last man on his tail was Rams pass rusher Jared Verse — the same rookie who’d spent the week leading up to Sunday’s game telling the world he “ hate [s] Eagles fans. They’re so annoying .”

After having multiple 70+ yard touchdown scores in the first meeting, Barkley exploded for a 62-yard touchdown to put Philadelphia up 12-7 and had fun with Verse at the end of the run. Barkley has four carries for 71 yards (17.8 avg) and one touchdown; overall, the Eagles have 115 yards rushing early in the second quarter.
