Fox Sports announces that the Super Bowl LIX will be streamed for free on its streaming app, Tubi, marking the first time the event is made accessible without a subscription. Both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles are top contenders to reach the Super Bowl by winning their respective AFC and NFC Championships.

Super Bowl LIX will be available on Tubi in 4K resolution. This will be the streaming service's biggest live event yet.

Tubi recently announced that more than 10 billion hours of content was streamed on its platform in 2024 and it exceeded 97 million active monthly users. The Fox-owned free streaming service houses TV shows, movies and a suite of live channels that includes news, sports and lifestyle programming.

Super Bowl LIX is set for February 9 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, with the Kansas City Chiefs facing the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fox Sports said will be streaming the Feb. 9 Super Bowl for the first time via free streaming service Tubi, as well as providing coverage of the big game in New Orleans on Fox, Fox Deportes, NBCUniversal’s Telemundo and across NFL digital properties Tubi will offer a 4K feed of the coverage.

Standing out amid the parade of Super Bowl brand stunts and celebrity-driven ads is already difficult. And this year, Tubi has the added challenge of outdoing its 2023 campaign, which remains a standout among recent Super Bowl efforts.
