Evacuation warnings were lifted in Los Angeles County Saturday morning for the 5,370-acre Canyon Fire straddling the Los Angeles-Ventura county line near Val Verde west of Castaic, authorities said. The warnings were lifted as of 7 a.

Fire officials say the blaze is threatening power lines as well as the communities of Hasley Canyon and Hathaway Ranch.
