An American school teacher held in Russia for over three years has been released, the White House said Tuesday. Marc Fogel, who was arrested for having medical marijuana in 2021, is expected to be back on U.

Marc Fogel, a teacher, had been held in Russia since August 2021. He was classified as wrongly detained by the Biden administration late last year.
