Gwaley called DeHosse, who owns Sparkles by Shell, a Monongahela-based screen print and embroidery business. They are now selling T-shirts, hoodies, and yard signs with the words “Clairton Strong” to raise money for the steelworkers impacted by the explosion.
First responders are on scene at the U.S. Clairton Coke Works plant in Pennsylvania as one worker remains unaccounted for.
