Auburn freshman got benched due to a bad closeout. After a butt chewing from Bruce Pearl, the player decided to go into the locker room on his own for the remainder of the game.

The No. 7 Vols (17-2) face the No. 1 Tigers (17-1) and coach Bruce Pearl, who coached Tennessee from 2005-11. Pearl, of course, has turned around the Auburn basketball program since taking over in 2014.

It didn’t come easy, but the No. 1 ranked team in the country will hold onto their spot atop the AP Poll for at least another week, as the Auburn Tigers survived a hard-fought SEC test at the hands of the Tennessee Volunteers.
