Sam Asghari opened up about navigating a challenging relationship –– specifically when it came to his seven-year romance with pop icon Britney Spears. Reflecting on his time with the singer, Asghari, 30, recently described their relationship as a "crash course in Hollywood," with the most unexpected hurdle being her conservatorship.

The actor, 30, admitted that he initially expected the “Toxic” hitmaker’s colossal fame to be the biggest obstacle he would have to deal with.

During Spears’ bid to end her conservatorship, the “Toxic” singer was vocal about the alleged restrictions placed upon her. At one point, Spears detailed being prohibited from removing her IUD, even though she wanted to try having kids with Asghari.
