By Nick Mulvenney SYDNEY (Reuters) -Rugby Australia chief Phil Waugh was disappointed the Wallabies lost the test series against the British & Irish Lions but believes the tour was a huge success and talk that the tourists might not return in 2037 was well wide of the mark.

Ben Calveley, the British and Irish Lions chief executive, is adamant that the touring side will be returning to Australia while adding that Andy Farrell is in a “very strong position” to retain his role as head coach.

While the Wallabies suffered a narrow series loss to the British and Irish Lions, Rugby Australia are cheering the tour's success on and off the field.
